NO IPHONE 5!

Right, so no iPhone 5 this year, eh?

I was kind of dissappointed last week. I tried not to sleep in the night to follow the “Let’s Talk iPhone” event on some Liveblog (the event was started at 00:00 AM! It’s GMT+7 here), hoping that I could see iPhone 5 earlier than some of others people out there (yeah call me a gadget freak if you want), but yeah no iPhone 5.

Do I still want to buy iPhone 4S? No, of course. I never intended to buy it anyway (don’t listen to the comic! ^^). Specwise, iPhone 4S is still good and can compete to other Android smartphones out there. But as owner of iPhone 4, I hate that they (Apple) decided to still use the same design. In the same time, I also like the idea, since there will be another year for iPhone 4 user to keep their good old iPhone 4, especially if they still on contract or still pay on monthly credit. Remember that white iPhone 4 and CDMA version were released more late than original black iPhone 4 and that was less than a year ago.

Ah anyway, I’m just looking for the iOS 5, which is will be released tomorrow (12th October 2011) but I already tried iOS 5 GM version LOL (just can’t hold my horses). iOS 5 is a big improvement for iOS, I have to admit that. I’m looking forward to see next updates for this iOS. Bravo Apple!

Let's talk iPhone 5

Whoa whoa! Finally, yes, finally!

Apple has sending invitation for its upcoming press conference, with tagline “Let’s Talk iPhone”. Yeah, this time for sure, they will introduce new iPhone! I don’t know whether it will be only 1 new iPhone as usual, or 2 new iPhones, iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 (or whatever the name will be). This gonna be awesome. I’m exciting!

No, no, don’t listen to that comic. It’s not true,  I don’t have any plan to replace my good old iPhone 4 with new one, really. All I want for now is iOS 5 and non-iOS tablet!

Hi! It’s been a long time!

Yes, it’s been almost 1 year ago since I release my X-Overoid theme for BlackBerry Curve 8520/8530 (Gemini/Kepler). This time, I present you another simple theme for those handset.

Sorry for a lame name, e-Banna. “e” stands for my initial name. “Banna” stands for “BlackBerry and Anna”. Why Anna? Because I use Symbian Anna icons for this theme. I was reading local gadget magazine then I saw lots of pictures of Symbian Anna there. I thought it would be nice if I use these icons to the new theme. So, here we are, theme with Symbian Anna icons.

Unfortunately, I forgot who made these Symbian Anna icons. I grab it from the net more than a month ago but forgot to bookmark it so I couldn’t credit the icon maker here (yes, it took me months to make this theme, because I’m just, lazy).
So, if you know who made these great icons, or if the icons belong to you, please tell me! I’ll credit you!

Okay, to be honest, this website has been launched for more than 2 weeks ago. I just forgot to write it here, hehehe.

This is the 3rd family member of Free Download websites that me and my friend manage. The first one is Free Download Themes, a website to share themes which focused on BlackBerry free themes for now. The second website is Free Download Vector, a place to find a lot of free vector to download which is very useful for lots of designers out there. Both of them already launched for about 1 year and we’re glad that we got dollars from the Google Adsense thanks to them.

And now, this is Free Download Icon, ready to serve you designers! I’ll collect a lot of free icons sources and share it there. A year from now, I believe the website will become a great resource for various icons. You can help us by submit your own icons too.

Aku dan Duniaku (Me and My World)

Hi, guys! How are you?

Sorry for not updating this website (again :p), but to be honest, I was busy preparing and maintain my new website: AkudanDuniaku.com. It’s my Indonesian blog/website, if you may say. Sometimes, well if you don’t want to call it most of times, I lost my confidence when writing something in English. Seriously, I know my english sucks, and I don’t feel like to join any english course right now to make it better. That’s why, writing a long and complex article can be a burden to me. So, in order to avoid that, and to satisfy my thirst to share something that I love to write, I decided to make another website/blog but in my native language, Indonesian language. In that way, I can write anything that I like to write!

Aku dan Duniaku, in English is called “Me and My World“. Well, not that different name than MysteryE World, right

But don’t worry. I will keep this blog updated, especially with something important or just a short and simple post like this one.

I’m not a fan of Owl City before. But, after I watched a movie titled Legend of the Guardians – The Owls of Ga’hoole, I began to love Owl City’s songs, especially the one that used in the movie, To the Sky! It’s a catchy song, and full of dreams. I really really like it a lot. I even watch the movie 2 times, in 3D and in regular movie, and everytime the song played, it moved my heart (awwww~). I just want to share the lyric and the song itself in MP3 format to download for free. Hope you will like the song too.

Damn Turkish Hacker!

Finally! My website now is up and running again!

My website has been down for almost 3 days, thanks to those Turkish hacker who attack one of the hosting company servers (Dracoola Multimedia and Hosting). One server was totally screwed (including the backup files!!! OMG!) and all website hosted in that server got defaced, including my website here. Glad the other servers were just fine (which also host my other websites, phew).

I think I chose the right web hosting company. They work very very very hard to restore more than 500 websites hosted in the attacked server. They said the attacked server was one of their oldest servers, so perhaps the hacker found the small gap to hack, and yes they succeeded, bah.

Anyway, I’m just glad that it didn’t take time too long.

To be honest, this week I feel not so productive at work. It’s like I lost my idea, my creativity, my mood, or whatever you call it. For me, it’s like a creative-less week. And that what I call it a BIG problem. I work in an environment where creativity is a must and I just lost it! That made me tend to always think negative, my mood ruined easily, and in the end, I feel like, stupid at work, can’t do a thing, creative-less… And that’s not all, today is one of my bad day, started with a bike accidentally crashed into the back of my car this morning, leaving an easy to see medium dent at the bumper. Shit. I just hate this condition, when I start to feel sooo negative all the time, all bad things seem to occur very often. And I really need to change this. Yes, I should try to think positive and for a start, I need to recharge and boost my creativity. I still don’t know what to do, but tonight, I bumped into this book at local book store: “Oh My Goodness! Buku Pintar Seorang Creative Junkies“, written by Yoris Sebastian. Creative Junkies’ Smart Book, hmm…

Before I continue, I want to say that this post is NOT going to be a review of that book. I haven’t finished read the book yet (yeah of course, I just had this book for a mere 3 hours). So this post is just for sharing my thoughts this week and to share the presence of this book in Indonesian book store. Maybe you Indonesian fellas can go and buy this book, which looks very interesting to read for me.

Creative [cre.a.tive]: relating or involving the imagination or original ideas

You can grab this book in exchange for Rp 68.000,00 or about $7.5. First of all, I love the cover design of this book. It was the one that attracts my eyes before I choose to buy it. Illustrative, simple in colour, I just like it. It’s written by Yoris Sebastian, and to be honest, I just don’t know who he is. It was like this in my mind when I read the writer name “Who the hell is HE???”. LOL, hope he doesn’t read my blog… Anyway, I found his website here: www.yorissebastian.com. I will visit his website more often after I finished read the book

Today I just got a great finding on the net: an iPhone (both original iPhone screen size AND in Retina Display size!), iPad, and Palm Pre Graphic User Interface (GUI) in PSD format. And yes, you can download it for FREE! How awesome is that?! This GUI made by Geoff Teehan (and his team I suppose).
